To put text on a slide, you must use a "Text Box". The nice thing about text boxes is that you can move them around where you want them to go and use font styles just like in Microsoft Word. .

There are only two steps for creating a text box.

1. Click on "Insert"; go to "Text" and then click on Text Box.

2. Use your mouse to draw your Text Box. Left click and drag your mouse. This will create it. Then enter your text. Window Showing Textbox
