A complete sentence must have a subject and verb (predicate).  If either one is missing, the sentence is incomplete. In fact, you cannot use one without the other and still have a complete sentence.

2.  Living life is always a trip.

3.  Ms. Molly is nasty.

4.  In the morning, birds sing and dogs bark.

Examples of Incomplete Sentences

3. Ms. Molly nasty

4. In the morning sing and bark
